Willy Falk has performed in many Broadway shows and appeared on operatic stages throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. He is a graduate of Harvard University and The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Willy received a Tony© Award nomination for his portrayal of “Chris” in the original Broadway production of Miss Saigon.
He began his professional career as “Paul San Marco” in the Broadway Tour of A Chorus Line; playing over one hundred cities in the US. For his Broadway debut, he played ‘Tommy” in Marilyn: An American Fable, and his solo song from that show, “You Are So Beyond,” has become a Broadway cult favorite. He was also on Broadway in Starlight Express, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Les Misérables. Among his many other theatre credits, his favorites include a revival of George M! with Joel Grey, Little Shop of Horrors with Dom DeLuise, Pacific Overtures Off-Broadway working with Stephen Sondheim, recording the concept cd of Jekyll and Hyde, playing the lead and recording Shelter, and creating roles in many new musical theatre works.
In the world of opera, he played “Hoffmann” in Les Contes d’Hoffmann in France, and performed with orchestras and opera companies throughout the U.S. in a wide variety of works. He feels equally at home in musical theatre, dance, and opera and is a fluent speaker of French, Italian, and Spanish. Audiences from a wide variety of musical backgrounds respond to the beauty of his voice and are moved by his heartfelt interpretations.
